Environment, Health and Safety (EHS)
NextPharma is committed to conducting its business in a manner which will integrate EHS good practice in accordance with legal requirements.
At NextPharma the EHS corporate strategy is a key priority. It was established in 2005 and sets out how NextPharma's environment, health and safety framework will continue to progress through management systems towards a state of excellence during 2010.
EHS objectives have been established and communicated in all NextPharma locations in order to:
- embed an EHS culture
- provide EHS training to NextPharma employees
- establish a coherent EHS organisation and documentation
- assess EHS hazards and risks of activities, products, processes and services
- be compliant with national regulations
- implement controls
- focus on risk reduction or elemination
- test and monitor systems effectiveness
- share, report, evaluate and review information and experience
