NextPharma reaches agreement to provide Wyeth with full service manufacturing of Cytostatics product.

NextPharma Technologies LTD announces that it has reached an agreement with Wyeth on the terms under which NextPharma will contract manufacture Methotrexate 5 mg Lyophilised and Parenteral for Wyeth Benelux and Japanese markets. NextPharma's fully owned subsidiary Laboratoires Thissen S.A. will provide Wyeth with full services including sourcing of actives, technology transfer and process implementation. Production launch is expected to take place during the third quarter 2005. The two companies are also discussing primary commercial terms to include additional formulations.

Professor Trevor Jones joins the Board of NextPharma

Professor Trevor Jones CBE has been appointed to the Board of NextPharma Technologies Holdings Ltd, the European based company specialising in strategic pharmaceutical outsourcing of product development, manufacturing and logistics services.
Professor Jones, who was until recently Director General of the ABPI, is also a member of the Board of Allergan Inc. and Chairman of the Merlin Bioscience stem cell company ReNeuron.
Prior to his appointment at ABPI, Professor Jones was the main Board Director for R & D at Wellcome PLC.
